Taymer Park will be connected to the paths passing through the Silsoe Park. Local people will be able to walk from the village down to the gardens without using Barton Road. This will extend the Silsoe green chain of parks and gardens to include our new garden.

In addition to this walkable link we are keen to ensure that social and community links are created to ensure that Taymer Park complements the main village and helps to boost local facilities and the quality of life for all.

Arrangement will be made to share the well-being facilities with elderly residents living in Silsoe. Events in the gardens would be open to all village residents and if there are other ways in which Taymer Park could help the village services we would like to hear about them in this consultation.
