Taymer Park is designed to be focussed around a central garden square of the highest quality. The garden is just under a hectare and will be the centre of community life. It will be open for all local people to visit.
Every building faces the square which is laid out symmetrically and sub-divided for flexibility; quiet areas to read, places to picnic with the family, areas to grow vegetables and paths to walk a different route each day. The whole community overlooks the square and it brings life and activity to the very heart of Taymer Park.
The design respects its rural surroundings and the tradition of using formal gardens in the setting of well-liked places on the edge of villages and market towns.
